Due to a series of unfortunate events, The Copley Kids Program will no longer be held at The Church of the Resurrection. We recognize the need for this type program and deeply regret the events that forced us to this decision. We are strongly committed to youth outreach and plan to try creating a new program with the same goal of serving the youth of the area. If this can be acomplished, word of it will be posted on the Church's website.
Mission Statement The mission of the Copley Kids Program is to foster resiliency concepts that will encourage youth to achieve their full potential in the areas of academics, employment, and social competence; to support unique talents and behaviors that will provide motivation for coping with today’s challenges, and promote conscious efforts in making positive decisions that will impact on their future success. Who Are We?An after-school homework club, odd jobs program and summer camp. The Copley Kids Program was founded in August of 1994. The Program is hosted by Copley Parish, The Church of the Resurrection on Rumsey Island in Joppatowne, MD, as one of its outreach ministries. Although housed in the church's facilities, there is no mandate for religious participation. The parish hall and extensive grounds of the Church of the Resurrection are an ideal place providing a safe, caring and nurturing environment for our youth to study and play.
